What You'll Do: Lead VCU efforts for M&P trades from preconstruction through construction phases, including coordination, clash detection, and model management. Develop and manage project-specific BIM execution plans, workflows, and standards. Collaborate with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure model accuracy and alignment with construction sequencing and logistics. Oversee modeling and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems in Revit and Navisworks, ensuring constructability and adherence to codes and specifications. Facilitate and lead weekly coordination meetings, leveraging model data to resolve conflicts and drive decisions. Generate and distribute 2D/3D drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication spools as needed. Perform model quality control, clash detection, and coordination reporting. Interface with the field team to support layout, installation, and verification of M&P systems using model-based workflows and tools (e.g. Trimble, Total Solutions). Maintain and update as-build models for turnover and facilities management. Stay current on VDC/BIM trends, technologies, and standards; suggest improvements to enhance workflows and efficiency.
