Position InformationPosition Title Part Time TESOL Instructor Position Category Faculty Position Status FLSA Exempt Advertised Salary $1,008 per lecture hour Department Education (EDU) Working Hours Wednesdays 4:30pm - 7:15pm General DescriptionSUNY Niagara has a need for a part time instructor for TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) within the Arts, Humanities & Social Services division. This position will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and leadership in support of the TESOL program while demonstrating a strong commitment to student success, inclusive teaching practices, and culturally responsive education. The instructor will contribute to advancing the program through effective teaching, collaboration, and engagement with the college and community.Responsibilities include teaching a 3-credit lecture course (EDU 299). Additional responsibilities may include student support, curriculum input, recruitment, and participation in college and departmental activities.Classes are held on Wednesdays 4:30pm - 7:15pm at the Niagara University Campus, in Lewistown, NY.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis.
