This role supports the production team in producing high-quality printed graphics, signage, and related products while developing the skills needed to become a fully independent operator. This position pays $15 to $18 an hour, depending on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the setup and operation of wide format digital printers (roll-to-roll, flatbed, etc.)Learn proper material handling including vinyl, banner, rigid substrates, and specialty mediaLoad and unload materials and printed products safely and efficientlySupport print production by preparing files, checking layouts, and staging jobsMonitor print quality and report any defects or inconsistenciesPerform basic machine maintenance and cleaning under supervisionAssist with finishing tasks such as trimming, laminating, and mountingMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety procedures and production guidelinesWork collaboratively with production, design, and installation teamsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in printing, manufacturing, or production is requiredAdvanced computer skills and willingness to learn print software and equipmentStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to read and interpret job tickets and work instructionsMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift and move materials up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and handling of large print materialsWork ScheduleFull-time positionOvertime may be required based on production needsCompensationHourly position (based on experience) $15 to $18 an hourOpportunity for advancement to Wide Format Digital OperatorSalary Description
