Entry Level Testing Field Tech

*Responsibilities:* * Perform construction engineering services related to concrete, asphalt and utility construction. * Responsible for inspecting and reporting on specific aspects of construction works in progress, such as concrete pours, rebar placement, pipe replacements as examples. * May be responsible for inspection and sampling of construction materials. * Assists engineers in field during soil and materials investigations. * May perform lab testing and observation of soils, concrete and asphalt. * Prepares and maintains project records and reports. *Requirements and Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or GED * Valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate company vehicle * Ability to handle physical requirements of the job, lift up to 50 lbs, as well as outdoor conditions and extended periods of time on your feet *Preferred but not required: (will have opportunity to earn these certifications)* * ACI Concrete Field and/or Lab Testing Technician * Relevant NICET certifications (Construction Materials Testing; Asphalt, Concrete, Soils) #PLResources Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * On-the-job training * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Hourly pay * Overtime pay Physical Setting: * Construction site Work Location: In person
