Job Description Position SummaryAs a Logistics Specialist I, you will support the preparation and coordination of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals. This role supports shipping, routing, inventory tracking, and proper storage allocation while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain logistics documentation for materials, tools, and equipmentCoordinate and track shipping logistics and inventory recordsSupport routing and allocation of materials across storage facilitiesTrack equipment, components, repair parts, and related manualsLearn and follow state, federal, and global import/export regulationsPerform safety-sensitive duties involving inspection and handling of materialsInspect structures, vehicles, or equipment and support aviation-related operationsOperate or supervise vehicles, forklifts, or heavy/dangerous equipment as requiredSkills & QualificationsRequired:Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelPreferred:Experience with inventory databasesKnowledge of inventory, supply chain, or logistics principlesFamiliarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systemsHazMat training or certificationForklift operation experienceExperience with shipping platforms (FedEx, DHL, UPS)
