Lot Porter Camping World is seeking a Lot Porter for our growing team. Camping World is looking for a Lot Porter to provide driving and support services as part of our first class service team.What You'll Do:Park and move RV units in a timely fashionEnsures window prices on recreational vehicles are installed and removed as instructedMaintains weekly lot washes and ensures all units and isles are cleanWrites work orders, tracks problems and ensures units are in proper working orderSweeps, picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans, keeps lot clean and professional in appearanceKeeps units and equipment secure from weatherMaintains physical inventory on a weekly basisEnsures slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened and the doors are unlockedMaintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkersWhat You'll Need to Have for the Role:High school diploma or equivalentTowing experience preferredAbility to use yard tractor and/or forkliftAbility to drive an RVExperience using generators and operating slide-outsAbility to repair small items and identify problem unitsValid Driver's License requiredMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bendingExposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipmentEnvironmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessGeneral Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated.
