CONTRACTOR DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
WE’RE HIRING: JUNIOR CONTRACTOR DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Long Island, NY | $55,000–$65,000
Bargain Moulding is looking for someone early in their career who wants to learn the building-materials business and grow into a professional contractor sales role.
This is not a commission-only job, and we don’t expect you to walk in with years of industry experience. We’re looking for someone hungry, coachable, organized and comfortable talking to people. We’ll teach you the products, quoting process and sales skills.
You’ll begin by learning:
* Interior doors and our in-house door shop
* Moulding, PVC trim, S4S boards, flooring and kitchens
* How to gather information and prepare accurate quotes
* How contractors purchase building materials
* Shopify, CRM and customer follow-up
As you develop, you’ll begin:
* Calling and emailing prospective contractors
* Scheduling showroom and jobsite visits
* Visiting active projects throughout Long Island
* Helping contractors with larger quotes
* Identifying new construction and renovation opportunities
* Developing contractor relationships and repeat business
What we’re looking for:
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Comfortable making calls and meeting new people
* Organized and dependable with follow-up
* Professional communication skills
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Sales, construction or building-material experience is helpful—but not required
This is a salary-based developmental position with hands-on training, direct access to company leadership and a genuine opportunity to grow into a larger contractor-sales role.
Bargain Moulding has grown from two locations to four locations, opened its own door shop and continues to expand across the region. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
