Wish You Were Here Group is looking for a service driven leader to join our team and own the guest experience on the floorWhat this role is:You are the heartbeat of the floorYou set the tone for service the vibe of the room and the standard of hospitality across every shiftYou are not stuck in the office you are present leading from the front and constantly elevating the experienceLeadership & Service ExcellenceOversee FOH service execution across multiple high-volume NYC locations.Obsessed with hospitality details service flow and guest experienceAbility to read a room and adjust energy and service style accordinglyStrong communication and team development skillsPassion for restaurants culture and creating memorable experiencesEnsure alignment with WYWHG service standards, brand voice, and hospitality philosophy.Partner with GMs and senior leadership to implement consistent service SOPs, steps of service, and guest experience protocols.Lead pre-shift culture, communication, and best-practice development across units.Training & DevelopmentConduct ongoing service training, coaching, and performance evaluations.Support onboarding of new FOH leadership and hourly staff.Identify gaps in skills or systems and build scalable solutions.Model exceptional hospitality and develop high-performing teams.Operations & SupportAssist with day-to-day service oversight during peak shifts across multiple venues.Maintain visibility on the floor, supporting GMs with service flow and guest recovery.Collaborate closely with culinary leadership, HR, recruiting, and operations.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor standards.Guest ExperienceOwning the guest experience from the moment guests walk in to the moment they leaveDriving a high energy welcoming and consistent atmosphere across all servicesMaintaining pace flow and overall floor dynamics during serviceHandling guest feedback and resolving issues with a hospitality first mindsetPartnering with the General Manager and marketing team on guest experience initiativesLead VIP and high-profile guest service when appropriate.Qualifications3–5+ years of FOH leadership experience in high-volume, upscale-casual or full-service restaurants.Prior multi-unit oversight strongly preferred.Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate teams.Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Passion for restaurants culture and creating memorable experiencesWhat success looks like:Guests feel the energy and warmth immediately when they walk inService is seamless polished and consistent even at peak volumeThe team is engaged motivated and takes pride in the experienceThe restaurant has a strong vibe that keeps guests coming backYou are recognized as the standard setter for hospitality within the buildingWhy join usFast growing hospitality group with multiple brands and marketsStrong culture and leadership supportOpportunity to grow into senior management rolesLocation New YorkSchedule & TravelNYC-based role with frequent travel between Little Ruby’s Cafés and Dudley’s locations.Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends.Compensation$85,000 – $100,000 annual salaryPlus performance-based bonus, benefits, and company dining perks.Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceIf you or someone you know would be a great fit reach out or apply directly!
