How a Systems Administrator Will Make an Impact
Assists with routine technical support in the management of systems, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
Helps troubleshoot system hardware and software issues
Assist end users on the proper use of hardware and software
Assists with basic software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
Assists with monitoring and tuning of systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Aids with ensuring workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
Helps ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
Assists with basic hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
Helps to ensure that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree - 0+ years of related experience
Understanding of operating systems, hardware setup, system configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of managing servers, deploying software updates and ensuring system security against threats.
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery best practices.
Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
