Production & Inventory Planning Assistant Ascension Lingerie LLC, home to the Oh La La Cheri brand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & Inventory Planning Assistant to support our growing team in Miami. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced apparel environment and enjoys coordinating production, managing inventory flow, and collaborating across departments to keep operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Production & Inventory Planning Assistant will help oversee production timelines, inventory planning, vendor communication, and inbound logistics to support the successful delivery of our collections. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing production timelines and ensuring deadlines are met Communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors regarding orders, updates, and shipment status Track production from development through final delivery Help resolve production issues, including delays, shortages, and quality concerns Maintain production calendars and provide regular updates to internal teams Inventory Planning & Management Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting inventory needs based on sales trends and demand Support inventory replenishment planning and stock allocation Track inbound shipments and ensure accurate receipt of goods Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory records, product data, SKUs, and pricing information Assist with inbound logistics coordination and warehouse communication Administrative & Cross-Functional Support Create and update purchase orders, production documents, and tracking reports Maintain organized vendor, production, and inventory files Collaborate with design, sales, logistics, and operations teams to support business needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of experience in apparel production, inventory planning, operations, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and proactive with a collaborative mindset Preferred Skills Knowledge of apparel production timelines and processes Experience with ERP or inventory management systems Understanding of demand forecasting and stock planning Familiarity with garment construction, fabrics, and trims What We're Looking For A proactive, organized, and dependable team player Someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Adaptable and solution-oriented with a willingness to learn This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic apparel company and gain hands-on experience across production, inventory planning, and operations.
