Cost Controller

We are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality aluminum products while maintaining a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team at the aluminum manufacturing plant. The Cost Controller will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the manufacturing plant's costs to ensure they stay within budget and contribute to the overall profitability of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, and recordsAnalyze and report on manufacturing plant costs, variances, and trendsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to manufacturing costsCollaborate with the production team to develop and maintain standard costs for productsMonitor and control inventory levels to optimize working capital and minimize wasteIdentify cost reduction and process improvement opportunitiesEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processesParticipate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and projectsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost driversProficient in cost accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
