Description: Life Enrichment Coordinator Grand Villa of Deland is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. This vital role involves creating a vibrant, engaging environment for our active senior residents through a variety of activities, entertainment, and recreational therapies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors and fostering a positive, inclusive community. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and facilitate a diverse range of activities, entertainment, and recreational therapies tailored to the interests and abilities of senior residents - Develop and implement engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, mental stimulation, and overall well-being - Collaborate with residents, staff, and families to assess individual needs and preferences to personalize activity plans - Coordinate special events, outings, and motivational activities to enrich residents' daily experiences - Maintain accurate records of participation and resident feedback to evaluate program effectiveness - Ensure a safe and inclusive environment during all activities and events Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in activity planning, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging seniors in meaningful activities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of aging processes and senior care best practices is a plus - Flexibility to adapt activities to varying resident needs and abilities - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in recreational therapy or related fields are advantageous At Grand Villa of Deland, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, supportive community where residents can thrive.
