Opportunity Position: Cardio Thoracic SurgeryLocation: Columbus, GA Job Description Join our clients Cardiothoracic Surgery service line as a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon.This position will be employed by our clients Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and located at the facility in Columbus, GA (90 miles southwest of Atlanta).our clients Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery seeks a full-time fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join the our client cardiothoracic surgery program at the facility in Columbus, GA.This position will practice adult cardiothoracic surgeryActive inpatient and outpatient practice, with coverage and practice responsibilities at the facility in efforts to provide outstanding clinical care, maintain/improve quality and patient safety, access to and management of clinical trials, and developing/refining innovative strategies in the field of adult cardiac surgery.Participate in committees, peer review, present cases in the M&M case conferences, manage patient workups and procedures according department guidelines, and adopt any tools and/or technologies deemed part of the practice of adult cardiac surgery.Participate in clinical research within the Division as well as quality efforts.Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents or fellows and other rotators through the cardiothoracic surgery service.Minimum Qualifications:Board-eligible or certified in Cardiothoracic SurgeryA valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of GeorgiaA controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate Contact For further information, contact TJ Waud at .
