Financial Reporting Manager

Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Executive Researcher - Accounting & Finance A well-established U.S. commercial bank in Pasadena is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager with deep experience in loan reporting and regulatory disclosures. This individual will be responsible for preparing SEC filings, driving loan-focused regulatory reporting, and strengthening internal financial controls. Candidates must bring prior exposure to banking loan products and reporting for financial institutions. Big 4 only backgrounds (without in-house banking experience) are not ideal. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Prepare loan-related disclosures & supporting schedules for 10-Q, 10-K, and MD&A 🔹 Prepare disclosures supporting 8-K earnings release tables 🔹 Complete regulatory reports including Call Reports & FR Y schedules 🔹 Develop schedules for internal reporting (including monthly Board packages) 🔹 Review reporting for accuracy, data quality, and regulatory alignment 🔹 Lead variance/trend analysis and loan data quality control 🔹 Research new accounting rules/regulations and guide compliance strategy 🔹 Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting integrity 🔹 Review financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries 🔹 Support audits (internal/external) and assist with footnote preparation 🔹 Handle ad-hoc analysis and reporting projects Qualifications ✔ 5–7+ years in financial reporting or public accounting (banking required) ✔ Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial institution reporting ✔ Experience with loan reporting and regulatory schedules ✔ Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred ✔ Strong analytical, technical research, and problem-solving skills ✔ Must thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and collaborate across teams Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting/Auditing, Finance, and Quality Assurance Industries Accounting, Financial Services, and Banking Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Madison-Davis, LLC by 2x Get notified about new Financial Reporting Manager jobs in Pasadena, CA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
