OverviewWe are seeking a motivated IT Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for a national home improvement retail client. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, laptops, printers, thin clients, access points, servers, and network switchesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within defined service levelsTravel daily within a 25-100+ mile radius to service client locationsDocument all work performed, including issues, resolutions, and ticket updatesManage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issuesCommunicate technical information clearly to non-technical usersSupport cabling work including copper and fiber (terminations preferred)Ensure timely completion of service calls and maintain high customer satisfactionOccasionally work at heights (20-25 feet); training providedUnderstand basic AC/DC and backup power conceptQualificationsMinimum 1 year of IT technical support experienceCompTIA A+ certification (required)CompTIA Network+ (preferred)Experience with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systemsFamiliarity with networking and hardware troubleshootingStrong time management and documentation skillsValid driver's license requiredAbility to lift up to 25 lbsCore CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsProblem-solving and troubleshooting abilitySelf-motivated and able to work independently
