This position works closely with the Property Manager to ensure effective leasing, rent collection, financial reporting, and outstanding resident service. In the Property Manager’s absence, the Assistant Manager is expected to assume full responsibility for the community’s operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to SunRidge’s high standards of excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational SupportGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track leasing activity, occupancy, and financial performanceMaintain up-to-date and accurate resident records, including rent payments, deposits, and lease documentsAssist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of community operationsFinancial & Rent CollectionAccurately record and process all rent payments, application fees, and depositsIssue late notices, track delinquent accounts, and support legal action when necessaryMake daily bank deposits and maintain all required financial records in accordance with company proceduresLeasing & MarketingGreet prospective residents, provide community tours, and complete leasing paperworkProcess renewals, move-ins, and move-outs in accordance with TAA lease requirementsSupport marketing and outreach initiatives and conduct local market surveys to ensure competitivenessResident RelationsFoster a resident-first culture by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional mannerConduct move-in and move-out inspections and assist in retention efforts by promoting a positive living experienceAccept and process service requests, coordinating with maintenance for timely resolutionAdministrativeMonitor notices to vacate and update property status reports regularlyMaintain organized lease files, service requests, and reportsEnsure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other local, state, and federal housing regulationsTraining & DevelopmentComplete all required training modules (including Grace Hill) within designated timeframesParticipate in ongoing development opportunities and assist in onboarding new team membersQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in multifamily property management or leasing requiredMust be BilingualMust have Tax Credit/HUDWorking knowledge of property management software (OneSite/Yardi) and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with your state’s lease documents, Fair Housing laws, and Property CodeStrong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility and professionalismWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, on-site position at the assigned apartment community.
