Corporate Accounting Manager / Treasury Farmington Hills, MIReal Estate Company in Multifamily and Commerical Search by Harper AssociatesResponsible for corporate accounting, treasury management, banking administration, corporate AP/AR, intercompany activity, payroll journal entries, corporate credit card reporting, compliance support, and financial schedule preparation for a real estate property management organization.This role reports to the CFO/COO and supports accurate, timely, and well-documented corporate accounting and treasury processes. The position works closely with executive leadership, accounting, accounts payable, human resources, investor relations, property accounting, banking partners, tax advisors, registered agents, and outside service providers to ensure activity is properly recorded, supported, confidential, and aligned with internal control expectations.This is a hands-on role requiring strong accounting discipline, treasury experience, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines across corporate accounting, property accounting support, banking, tax, compliance, and ownership reporting.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.• CPA, advanced degree, or treasury-related designation preferred but not required.• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, treasury, corporate accounting, or property management accounting experience preferred.• Real estate, multifamily, commercial property management, asset management, or property accounting experience strongly preferred.Corporate Accounting Manager / Treasury Job Description• Prior experience with bank account administration, wires, positive pay, AP/AR, intercompany accounting, payroll journal entries, corporate credit cards, tax schedules, and financial statement preparation preferred.• Proven record of accuracy, confidentiality, accountability, and deadline management.Core Competencies:• Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting• Treasury Management and Cash Controls• Bank Account Administration• Positive Pay, Wire, and Payment Control Support• AP/AR and Intercompany Accounting• Payroll Journal Entries and Corporate Credit Card Reporting• Reconciliations and Workpaper Documentation• Internal Controls and Process Discipline• Confidential Financial Schedule Management• Compliance and Entity Administration Support• Organization and Deadline Management• Collaboration and Communication• Problem Solving and Process ImprovementPerformance Expectations:• Corporate financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are accurate, complete, and prepared on time.• Treasury activity, bank documentation, wires, deposits, positive pay, and payment support are properly documented and retained.• Bank account setup, maintenance, signer updates, system setup, and related controls are completed accurately and timely.• Intercompany activity, billbacks, payroll journal entries, corporate AP/AR, and corporate credit card reporting are properly coded, supported, and reconciled.• Compliance filings, tax support, registered agent tracking, and assigned entity administration items are organized and completed by required deadlines.• Confidential ownership, cash holdings, mortgage, tax, and financial schedules are accurate, current, and handled with appropriate discretion.• Issues, exceptions, missing support, or high-risk items are identified early, escalated appropriately, and resolved with clear follow-through.Work Environment:This position is based in a professional office setting. No travel is required.
