EHS Specialist – Waukesha, WI (On-Site)Vaco is partnering with a manufacturing client in Waukesha, WI to hire an experienced EHS Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, collaborative, and ready to elevate an established safety program.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage incident reporting, including conducting thorough investigations and root-cause analysisOversee safety programs and workers' compensation processesDrive continuous improvement and help elevate the company's EHS programDeliver engaging EHS training across all departmentsPartner cross-functionally with operations, HR, leadership, and other teams to ensure alignment and complianceTravel occasionally to additional sites as needed (limited travel)Required Skills & Experience3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organizationHigh degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgmentProficiency with MS Excel and SAPBachelor's degree required (EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred)What Makes Someone Successful in This RoleConfident leading investigations and coaching othersComfortable influencing without authorityAble to build trust quickly and maintain strong working relationshipsPassionate about safety culture and continuous improvementDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
