Location: New Orleans Airport F&B Advertised Compensation: $18.35 to $20.39 Purpose The Manager I (MGRI) assists Branch management in executing QSR or similar restaurant management operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high operational standards. The MGRI applies prescribed policies and procedures to guide management decisions. Essential Functions Completes opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures. Assists the AGM/GM in supervising associate activities for one or multiple restaurants or POS. Participates in interviews, provides hiring input, recommends employee status changes to the GM. Assigns tasks, participates in schedules, and ensures shifts are covered. Ensures mandatory rest breaks and meal periods for associates. Maintains visual standards of display areas. Ensures equipment is in good working order. Operates cash register and voids transactions following cash handling policies, maintaining cash security. Monitors compliance with wellness and safety procedures, reports concerns. Performs Health and Safety activities per Manager's Guide. Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices. Keeps up-to-date contact information for associates. Requirements Must work shift during opening, busy hours, and closing shifts as needed. Must know applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards and HACCP protocols. Reporting Relationships & Other Information The MGRI position is Non-Exempt under the FLSA. Reports to the General Manager, Director of Operations, or an intermediate F&B Multi-Unit Manager II. Must work a varied, rotating schedule on different operating days. Mandatory Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience. Minimum 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen. Must read, understand mandatory instructions and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.
