Position OverviewThe Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations within a government environment. This position supports staff, leadership, and mission partners through routine administrative functions, coordination activities, and records management.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general administrative support tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparationManage office communications including phone calls, emails, and visitor coordinationAssist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference roomsMaintain and organize electronic and physical records in accordance with established proceduresSupport correspondence tracking, routing, and distributionProvide customer service support to internal and external stakeholdersAssist with preparation of reports, briefings, and standard office documentsMonitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment as neededFollow established processes, security protocols, and administrative proceduresRequired Skills and Qualifications0–2 years of administrative or clerical support experienceBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow instructions and established proceduresEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentActive SECRET Clearance or ability to get SECRET Clearance
