Inventory Coordinator

Position SummaryThe Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within the manufacturing warehouse through strong inventory control practices, cycle counting, auditing, and SAP transaction management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material accuracy, supporting production needs, and minimizing inventory discrepancies.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & AccuracyMaintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goodsExecute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts; investigate and resolve variancesPerform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actionsEnsure inventory movements are properly executed and documentedSAP & System TransactionsExecute all inventory-related transactions in SAP (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)Ensure SAP data accuracy aligns with physical inventorySupport inventory reconciliations between SAP and physical countsPartner with IT, Finance, and Supply Chain on SAP-related inventory improvementsAuditing & ComplianceSupport internal and external inventory auditsEnsure compliance with company inventory control policies and SOX requirements (if applicable)Maintain audit-ready documentation and transaction accuracyWarehouse & Cross-Functional SupportWork closely with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, and QA teams to ensure material availabilitySupport process improvements related to inventory flow, storage, and accuracyTrain warehouse team members on proper inventory handling and SAP transaction best practicesQualificationsRequired2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentStrong hands-on experience using SAP (inventory management, material movements)Proven experience with cycle counting and inventory auditingStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferredExperience in food manufacturing or regulated environmentsUnderstanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory practicesThe Good Stuff – BenefitsOur team members' physical and mental health is important to a thriving workplace.
