You'll support teachers, partner with families, and help maintain a structured, engaging, and compliant learning environment. You'll also step in as a leader when needed and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & OperationsOversee daily operations of the Village programSupervise, coach, and support Village teaching staffAssume Director responsibilities in their absenceMaintain a consistent, engaging daily scheduleSupport Get Well Place (GWP) operationsEnrollment & Family ExperienceSupport enrollment goals and participate in tours and marketing effortsWelcome and onboard new families with strong communicationBuild positive, proactive relationships with parentsEnsure a warm and inviting first impression for all visitorsProgramming & ComplianceMaintain compliance with NC Licensing, health, safety, and accreditation standardsParticipate in strategic planning and monthly QA meetingsConduct classroom observations and ensure accountability standards are metComplete fire drills and maintain emergency preparedness requirementsSupport inclusive practices for children of all abilitiesStaff & Team SupportDevelop and manage staff schedules, including summer planningOversee attendance, time-off requests, and call-outsAssist with staff meetings, coaching, and trainingAddress staff concerns and ensure compliance with school policiesAdministrative SupportMaintain student files and required documentationSupport billing coordination and ProCare system updatesManage accountability notebooks and reporting requirementsAssist with newsletters and school-wide eventsBudget & Professional GrowthOperate within established budget guidelinesComplete 30 hours of annual professional developmentStay engaged in professional organizations and best practicesQualificationsA genuine love for children and the ability to connect with families and staffBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent credentials such as CDA, Associate's degree, or relevant coursework)Minimum of 2 years teaching experience with young childrenAt least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experienceExperience in a NAEYC-accredited program (preferred)CPR, First Aid, and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindsetFlexibility to work between 6:15 AM – 6:45 PMPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and engaging with childrenComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsMake a Difference Every DayIf you're ready to grow your career in early childhood education while making a meaningful impact on children, families, and fellow educators, we'd love to meet you.Apply today and become a Village Coordinator at LeafSpring Schools! ?This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
