At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for a capable IT Intern like you!What You’ll DoAct as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from internal and external customersAddress user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networkingProvide technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation performance.Conduct remote troubleshootingInstall and configure computer systems and applications within the companyResolve technical issues related to PCs, Wyse devices, laptops, printers, scanners, or any other device used.Supporting and interacting with end users, including moves, transfers, new hires, etc.Deploying build images and software using SCCM to Laptops and Desktops.What You’ll BringDevelop IT expertise: Be currently enrolled in a BS degree program in IT, Engineering, or a related field. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills: Demonstrate strong critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges. Demonstrate customer focus: Exhibit a strong sense of customer service in technical support interactions. Enhance communication skills: Communicate effectively, document efforts and processes clearly, and follow internal coding and documentation standards. Your ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pmTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to the branch as scheduled weekly to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
