Senior Platform Engineer - Elixir/TypeScript

Senior Plataform Engineer | Elixir/TypeScript & AI - (Latam) #2921The missionTransform a collection of logistics tools into a unified, AI-native operating system for the global supply chain. Your mission is to architect the "Agent-Ready Infrastructure" that turns fragmented AI experiments into company-wide acceleration. This is a high-leverage role where you build the systems that determine the velocity of every other engineer in the organization. You are building the foundation for autonomous AI agents to operate within a complex, real-world logistics ecosystem. The RoleAs an engineer on the Platform Services team, your customers are internal, and your metrics are systemic.Agent Infrastructure: Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, shared skill registries, and automated feedback loops (type systems, test harnesses) that allow AI agents to operate autonomously.Product Unification: Strategize and execute the consolidation of acquired codebases into a composable set of shared platform services.Developer Experience (DevEx): Treat the internal developer platform as a product, shipping tooling, "Golden Paths," and scaffolding with the same rigor as customer-facing features.Standardizing Patterns: Evaluate emerging AI tools and design the architectural patterns that embed them into the daily engineering practice.Technical Bridge: Identify friction in shared infrastructure and collaborate with SRE teams to ensure global service reliability. The "Must-Haves"Core Languages: Strong production experience in either Elixir/Phoenix or TypeScript. Proficiency in one is required to ensure a smooth ramp-up into the existing ecosystem.Platform Depth: Significant experience at the infrastructure or platform layer with strong opinions on what makes a developer platform successful.Practical AI Experience: Proven experience running AI agents in production-adjacent workflows and an understanding of the infrastructure required to make them succeed (e.g., CLAUDE.md patterns).Architectural Instincts: Ability to identify duplicated capabilities across different products and extract them into well-defined, shared services.Ownership: A high-agency mindset with the ability to define problems, propose solutions, and own the outcome from scratch. The "Bonus" SkillsAI-First Workflow: Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex as a primary development environment.Infrastructure Tooling: Experience with Kafka, GCP, or workflow orchestration tools like Temporal, Prefect, or Airflow.Domain Context: Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations-heavy B2B environments.Community Engagement: Active participation in agentic developer communities or open-source contributions.Personal TraitsHigh Agency: You thrive in ambiguous environments where you are expected to define the roadmap and drive results independently.Product Manager Instincts: You define the "why" before the "how," ensuring that all alignment is treated as load-bearing infrastructure.Systemic Thinking: You prioritize long-term maintainability and scalability over quick hacks, building foundations that others can reliably build upon.Collaborative Communicator: You can translate complex platform shifts into clear insights for stakeholders across the organization.
