Internship Program Manager

The people who work here know that, and they wouldn't have it any other way. The Internship Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Astrolab's internship program. This role partners closely with Recruiting, Engineering, Operations, and business leaders to attract, hire, onboard, and support interns across technical and business functions. The Intern Program Manager will create a positive intern experience while ensuring consistent recruiting processes, university engagement, program coordination, and compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. This position will report to the Manager of Technical Recruiting.What you'll do:Develop and manage Astrolab's internship program from planning through program completionPartner with hiring managers to identify internship needs and coordinate recruiting activitiesBuild and maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, and other early career talent sourcesCoordinate intern recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding activitiesPlan and facilitate intern orientation, training, networking events, and final presentationsTrack program metrics and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies and the overall intern experienceMaintain internship documentation and ensure OFCCP compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulationsCollaborate with Recruiting, People Operations, and business leaders to support a positive and consistent intern experienceWhat you'll bring:Basic Qualifications3+ years of experience coordinating internship programs, university recruiting, talent acquisition, program management, or related experienceExperience building or scaling internship or early career programsExperience partnering with universities, student organizations, and faculty to build talent pipelinesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience supporting engineering, aerospace, or other technical organizationsExperience managing intern conversion programs and measuring hiring outcomes.Familiarity with OFCCP, EEO, and employment law as it relates to university recruiting.Experience managing intern conversion programs and measuring hiring outcomesProject management experienceBenefits and PerksJoin a team of best-in-class engineers building the foundation of planetary surface explorationEquity ownership in the companyComprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health support401(k) plan with company matchFlexible PTO and parental leaveHome office set up reimbursementWeekly lunch stipend, plus complimentary snacks and beverages on-siteOnce a month social hour on-site with food and drinks
