Engineering Intern - Electrical & Electronics

AV is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Space Technologies Electrical Engineering Team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience designing and developing electronics for space applications and supporting electrical integration efforts in complex systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work within agile, cross-disciplinary teams at the forefront of Space and Defense technology. Assist in the creation and modification of detailed wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. Collaborate with Mechanical and Systems Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Support the development of system-level cable routing, power distribution, and interconnect documentation. Altium, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar) to generate technical drawings. Help prepare design packages that comply with applicable military and industry standards. Assist with troubleshooting and validation of assemblies during prototyping or system integration. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field Experience creating or interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Basic understanding of analog or digital electronics and printed circuit boards. Preferred ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
