Design and Analysis Engineer 5 (Virtual)

For our client, we are seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 5 (Virtual) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.This role will focus on the definition, architecture, testing, and validation of complex electronic and electrical systems that support mission-critical programs. You will partner with customers, internal engineering teams, and suppliers to translate requirements into clear technical specifications and to help ensure performance, compliance, and readiness. The position also calls for independent technical review, data-driven recommendations, and collaboration on future technology investments.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $153,000 – $239,200 annuallyResponsibilities Lead customer interactions to define electronic and electrical system requirements Translate complex requirements into system architecture and interface specifications Conduct testing and validation to ensure compliance with operational requirements Develop program test strategies in collaboration with team members Manage the performance and compliance of critical suppliers Conduct independent program reviews and report findings to leadership Research technology advancements and make investment recommendationsQualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field 5-7 years of experience in electronic and electrical systems Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects Experience in system architecture, hardware, and software design Expertise in testing and validation processes Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsBenefits Health insurance and flexible spending accounts Health savings accounts Retirement savings plans Life and disability insurance programs Paid and unpaid time off optionsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
