CNC Programmer

Job DescriptionMust be a US Citizen and be able to pass a drug and background check.Must have Experience with Mazak MachinesMasterCam and Solidworks is a plusSeeking a seasoned multi-axis CNC Programmer.The primary purpose of this job is to Develop machine programs for Mills & Lathes with up to 5 axis while collaborating with cross-functional teams comprised of machinists/operators, manufacturing engineers, production supervisors, supply chain representatives, quality engineers/inspectors, and operations/program management to support program schedule & performance goals, mitigate manufacturing risks, and improve operational efficiency.Additional ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of machining strategy to take design data and produce machined hardwareDevelop manufacturing plans for high-volume productionDesign custom tools and fixtures as neededDevelop set-up sheets to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece. Identify, select, and procure appropriate tooling for job specific applications (based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capability). Releasing programs to the production team that have been validatedOwn process improvement opportunities (reduced machining/setup time, improved part quality)Maintain configuration control of files and job recordsSafely working within an industrial environmentKnowledge of metal alloys and usage within consumer and industrial productsCompany DescriptionBlackTree Technical Group is a full-service staffing and recruitment firm.
