Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a wide range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law and regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and litigation. Your proactive approach will help streamline case management, conduct legal research, prepare documents, and assist attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to gather relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents. Prepare and draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage case files efficiently through document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are organized and up-to-date. Conduct thorough document review and data entry to support case preparation and litigation processes. Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, court dates, and client appointments to ensure timely submissions. Perform legal administrative tasks such as filing documents with courts or agencies and maintaining organized filing systems. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases. Proofread and transcribe legal documents for accuracy; assist attorneys with drafting memos or reports as needed. Support various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and litigation. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence efficiently. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to firm policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of diverse legal practice areas such as probate and estate. Exceptional research skills utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis; ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly. Proficiency in legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review and management systems is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities. Effective interviewing skills for gathering client or witness information accurately. Familiarity with contract drafting and review processes; experience supporting multiple practice areas is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities such as filing (both physical and electronic), data entry, transcription tasks, and maintaining meticulous records. Superior phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills for client interactions. Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within a team setting.
