Multigen Program Department Intern

*Overview* Founded in 2002, Latinitas is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering girls and their communities through culturally relevant education. Latinitas is seeking an exceptional *Multigen Program Intern *to assist in the implementation of our programs. _Join Latinitas as a __*Multigen Program Department Intern*_ _and gain hands-on experience in the planning and delivery of our program offerings. You’ll support our team as we lead our adult digital literacy programming, Padres Digitales, at elementary and middle school campuses in AISD and Del Valle ISD._ _You will be working alongside Program Managers, Coordinators, and Leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in digital equity, adult education, or nonprofit program management._ _As a Program Intern, you’ll contribute to the smooth execution of Latinitas programs through a mix of administrative and hands-on tasks, while engaging directly with our participants in a dynamic and creative environment. Interns will support the facilitator and offer one-on-one assistance to participants during programming._ _*Time Commitment: 10 - 15 hours per week *_ *Key Responsibilities* * _Assist with the facilitation of Padres Digitales and Workforce Readiness Programming _ * _Help track, organize, and prepare curriculum materials, and technology as needed_ * _Assist in Latinitas special events and programs throughout the semester_ *Ideal Candidate* * _*Has availability to attend programming at least 3 out of 4 days per week M-Th \*8:50am-11am*_ * _Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required) _ * _Has Reliable Transportation and punctual_ * _Is comfortable using digital tools such as Google Suite, Gmail, Slack_ * _Passionate about equal opportunities, education, pedagogy, and/or nonprofit program delivery_ * _Energetic, inquisitive, and enthusiastic about working with adult learners_ *Perks & Benefits* * _$1,000 stipend upon successful completion_ * _Eligible for college credit_ * _Meaningful, mission-driven experience_ * _Professional mentorship and skills development in nonprofit program coordination_ * _Opportunities to connect with Austin's education, tech, and creative communities_ Pay: $1,000.00 per year Application Question(s): * Are you available Monday-Thursday from 8:50am-11am?
