Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Part Time

Overview We are seeking a patient, reliable, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will work part-time with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a structured environment. This position involves supporting individuals who may exhibit challenging behavioral problems, requiring strong communication, boundary-setting, and de-escalation skills. Must apply on our website at https://botbmod.com/ Shift Schedules Available: Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (No nights and no weekends required!) Responsibilities Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and person-centered support to adult clients. Implement behavioral intervention plans and support clients through behavioral challenges using approved de-escalation techniques. Assist with daily life skills, community integration activities, and recreational goals. Maintain clean, safe environments and accurately document daily behavioral notes. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (Required). Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check. Experience in care giving, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or crisis intervention is highly preferred but we will train the right candidate. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire). Valid Driver's License Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
