We are driven by Innovation, Passion and Craftmanship, and the belief that everybody can grow!Key ResponsibilitiesPerform machine setups quickly, accurately and efficientlyWork with engineering department and CAM programming software to develop and improve CNC programsDesign and aid in the fabrication of fixturing for parts of varying complexityAdvise supervisor and programming team of technical advancements to increase productionSetup and operate machines to produce production runs of partsMaintain quality standards through the understanding of the Quality Management SystemMonitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisorOther duties as directed by supervisorRequirementsFormal qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred8+ years of CNC machine operation G & M code fluency and ability to edit/create programsHigh level of blueprint reading requiredUnderstanding of GD&TStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexityCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitudeInterested in learning with and from engineering team to improve operationsKooks Custom Headers and Exhaust is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
