Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure daily Pre-Shift inspections and frequency checks are completed accurately and conduct planned inspection audits on each shift.Follow, comply and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).Conduct Pre-Shift meetings with the team to communicate safety and/or quality issues and production targets.Fills in for Team Members that need to temporarily leave the line (emergency, bathroom break, etc.)Complete all necessary documentation including hourly data collection with downtime reasons and daily performance graphing.Coordinate and assign job responsibility for team members on a daily basis.Maintain open communication and provide continued support to other departments regarding any changes, problems, or special projects. Encourages open communications; confronts difficult situations; maintains objectivity; keeps emotions under control; uses negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.Provide feedback and recommendations to the supervisor regarding team member performance and training needs.Position RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or GED requiredWork Experience / Technical Training: Valid driver's license. Current forklift license to be obtained within 1 week of hired.
