Information Security Engineering Manager

A Robert Half client is in search of an Information Security Engineering Manager to join their growing team within a well-known organization. The role will lead the engineering team and drive strategic initiatives across the organization including AI automation, process optimizations, integrating AML monitoring systems with ServiceNow using APIs and workflow automation, improving operational efficiency and compliance response times.This role is hybrid - 4x a week onsite in Silver Spring, MD and 1x a week remote.Top responsibilities:Lead a cybersecurity engineering team responsible for securing enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.Drive security initiatives focused on risk reduction, technology optimization, and operational resilience.Partner with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to identify threats, resolve vulnerabilities, and improve security controls.Oversee implementation and administration of security tools, monitoring capabilities, and defensive technologies.Support incident response efforts, security investigations, and escalated technical issues.Provide guidance to technical staff, manage priorities, and foster team development and performance.Collaborate with senior leadership on security strategy, governance, and program maturity initiatives.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen the organization's security posture.Qualifications:10+ years of experience within IT and security4+ years of team management experience including professional development, day-to-day management, goal setting, project management, and moreExperience with Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Azure AD, Azure Sentinel, and O365Certifications - CompTIA Advanced Security Practioner, CISSP, and/or AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
