Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Wellman, IA Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,166 to $1,366 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Iowa PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Demonstrated competency with common PTA interventions, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, gait training, and use of assistive devices. Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records. Experience with facility EMR systems preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow PT-directed care plans. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
