DevOps Enginner Intern

This internship is an opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in DevOps engineering. You will work closely with our engineering and IT teams to learn best practices in deployment, automation, and infrastructure management. As we continue to modernize our technology stack, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer Intern to support the deployment and management of web applications that drive our operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up and maintaining web application environments on servers.Support the creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for deployment.Help automate infrastructure tasks (server provisioning, monitoring, backups).Monitor system performance and learn how to troubleshoot issues.Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration of new features into production.Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferred.Exposure to containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) preferred.Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar) a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.What You’ll GainReal-world experience deploying and managing applications in a production environment.Hands-on exposure to DevOps tools and practices used in modern infrastructure.Mentorship from experienced engineers and IT professionals.A chance to make a direct impact on systems that support healthcare operations.Networking opportunities within a Brooklyn-based healthcare technology environment.
