IT Software Developer

Our client is seeking an IT Software Developer to join their team. As a IT Software Developer, you will be part of the IT department supporting application development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title IT Software Developer Location Remote What's the Job? Analyze requirements for software programs or application enhancements and create detailed programming specifications. Scope and estimate your own work to ensure timely delivery. Present technical information effectively to diverse audiences. Write or modify code for complex software programs, components, or applications. Perform development testing and document results for future reference and maintenance. What's Needed? Proficient in MS SQL Server, XML, XSLT, Visual Studio, C# .NET language Experience using Git with Visual Studio Experience using the browser to Clone Git repos to your local machine. Experience upgrading Nugget Packages. Experience using Visual Studio to Pull updates, create local branches, commit changes, Push local branch to the origin. Experience using the browser to create a Pull request and assign code reviewers. Know the concept of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Experience working with Microsoft technology stack (Windows Server, Visual Studio, TFS, ADO pipelines) Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal and written Excellent organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignment simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities Strong leadership skills Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with others to establish common goals Preferred Skills Property & Casualty Insurance Knowledge Duck Creek Knowledge Prior use of REST, SoapUI, Power Shell, and/or Postman.
