Prepress Specialist for Vinyl Wraps

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Pre-Press Graphics Designer to join our fast-paced wide format production team. This is a high-volume, on-site position that requires strong technical expertise in preparing files for vehicle wraps, wall wraps, signage, banners, and sticker production.The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with wide format pre-press workflows—especially vehicle wrap setup—and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Experience operating and maintaining roll-to-roll printers is also required. This job will be mainly focused in file set-up, rather than design. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and prepare print-ready files for:Full and partial vehicle wrapsWall wraps with accurate paneling and bleedSignage and large-format bannersSticker and decal productionCreate precise panel layouts for vehicle and wall installations, including proper bleed and overlapEnsure correct scaling, resolution, and file formatting for large-format outputPreflight incoming artwork and resolve technical file issuesManage color profiles and maintain print consistencyOperate, monitor, and maintain roll-to-roll wide format printersPerform routine printer maintenance and basic troubleshootingWork closely with production and installation teams to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain quality control standards in a fast-paced environmentRequired QualificationsProven experience in wide format pre-press productionStrong experience setting up files for vehicle wraps (required)Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)Experience with paneling large wall wraps and vehicle graphicsSolid understanding of bleed, overlap, scaling, and installation-ready layoutsExperience operating and maintaining roll-to-roll printersStrong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlinesAbility to work on-site in a high-paced production environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, or similar)Knowledge of color calibration and color management workflowsExperience in high-volume print environmentsFamiliarity with laminating and finishing processesExperience collaborating directly with installersWhat We OfferCompetitive pay (based on experience)Full-time, stable positionFast-paced, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to work on large-scale and creative projects
