Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wynne, AR, for a Medical Coder – Outpatient, E/M. The Medical Coder will review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures for outpatient services, especially Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding. The role includes validating documentation accuracy, applying proper coding guidelines, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with established coding standards and regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Coding and Coding ExperienceUnderstanding of Medical TerminologyKnowledge or certification in Health Information Management and RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)Strong attention to detail, compliance knowledge, and adherence to coding regulationsAbility to work collaboratively with healthcare professionalsPrior experience in outpatient coding or E/M coding preferredCertification in professional coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is a strong advantage
