HR Specialist
Job Overview:Search Solution Group is seeking a Human Resources Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading independent executive compensation consulting firm. This role plays a key part in supporting core HR operations, including benefits administration, HR systems, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes. The Human Resources Specialist will help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across daily HR functions while contributing to firm-wide initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to gain exposure and grow within a collaborative and high-performing environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, terminations, payroll updates, salary changes, and benefits administration within HR systems such as Workday and ADP Oversee benefits enrollment and updates, ensuring accurate communication with benefit carriers and timely processing of changes Review, reconcile, and submit monthly benefits invoices and track related expenses Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR, payroll, and financial data; generate reports and analyze data using Excel Support recruiting efforts by coordinating career fairs and preparing recruitment materials Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including pre-hire assessments, offer letters, and compliance documentation Maintain compliance records such as I-9 documentation and support internal and external audits Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR workflows and efficiency Support HR initiatives such as system enhancements, compensation cycles, employee engagement programs, and training efforts Requirements include:Education:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred Experience:2-5 years of experience in HR operations, administration, benefits, payroll, or related roles Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle, or similar platforms Skills:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management Effective written and verbal communication skills Certifications:HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus but not required Knowledge:Understanding of HR processes including benefits administration, payroll, and compliance Familiarity with HRIS systems and data reporting Knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practices Key Competencies:Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Problem-solving mindset with proactive decision-making Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Collaborative team player with a service-oriented approach Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment How to Apply:To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
