Specific assignment details may vary based on the facility, patient population and the type of practice.General Job Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures.Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections and minimally invasive surgeries (depending on scope of practice).Diagnose and treat a wide range of women s health conditions.Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception and family planning.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians and neonatologists, for optimal patient care.Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.Skills:In-depth knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy, childbirth and women s health conditions.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
