This role is ideal for individuals with foundational to intermediate experience in commercial or business banking who are looking to grow their skills in loan administration, documentation, and portfolio support.Working closely with Commercial Lenders, this position plays an important role in ensuring accurate loan processing, documentation, and ongoing servicing throughout the life of the loan.ResponsibilitiesInput, update, and retrieve data within loan system applicationsPrepare and review commercial loan documentationAttach and verify pledged collateral; review title work and related documentationRecord legal documents and follow up on required documentationCollect and review customer financial information and monitor tickler itemsAssist with construction draw requests, including reviewing inspections, invoices, and lien waiversCommunicate with customers, contractors, title companies, and other banksPrepare letters of credit and amendments, calculate fees, and assist with monthly fee summariesReview and process real estate title workMaintain accurate and organized loan filesSupport pre-closing and post-closing activitiesQualifications1–3 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, loan administration, portfolio administration, or a related fieldBasic to intermediate understanding of commercial loan documentation and processesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication skills and a customer-focused approachHigh school diploma or equivalent required; further education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredWhy BNC National Bank?At BNC, we believe in developing talent and providing opportunities for growth.
