Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist (Swing Shift & Night Shift)Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a talented CNC Milling Machinist to support our swing shift operations. This role focuses on producing precision components for aerospace and defense applications, including complex structural parts. You will work primarily with advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers, contributing to both commercial aviation and defense-related programs.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines with 3, 4, and 5-axis capabilitiesInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure parts meet design requirementsPerform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gaugesSet up machines by installing fixtures, vises, tombstones, and work-holding equipmentUtilize mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry to support machining processesMonitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyRequired QualificationsSolid experience operating CNC milling equipment (multi-axis preferred)Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T calloutsProficiency with standard inspection tools and measurement techniquesStrong understanding of shop math fundamentalsPreferred ExperienceBackground in aerospace or defense manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with Makino MAG series machines is a plusExperience machining aluminum and other metals used in high-performance componentsOpen to training candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnWhat We OfferWe provide a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and life insurance coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching.
