Job DescriptionLooking for a Software Engineer with experience in platform development, embedded systems, device drivers, Linux kernel networking with a focus on platform and L2/L3 protocolsMin 3-5 years of experience in the networking domain and platform/systems developmentPreferred Skills3+ year’s embedded software development experience using C, C++ and/or Python.Experience developing Linux internals including BSP (Board Support Package)Experience designing, coding, and troubleshooting low-level device drivers such as EthernetExpertise in the Linux TCP stackLinux kernel experienceVirtualization support (NICs), hardware offloads such as Crypto, Checksum, TSO, GROSystems-level programming experienceUnderstanding of L2, L3, L4 networking and routing protocolsStrong ability to debug issues in complex systemsExcited by quickly delivering results that make a meaningful difference to customersOwn solutions end-to-end and driving the design, development, and deployment processCreative, open-minded, collaborative problem solverFocus on clarity in written and verbal communications
