Job Description:We are hiring an experienced Accounting / Finance Professional to join a growing business environment focused on operational excellence, financial visibility, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:• Manage month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit-ready workpapers• Prepare departmental P&Ls, KPI dashboards, budgets, and rolling forecasts• Perform margin analysis and provide pricing and cost-reduction recommendations• Handle inventory and parts accounting, supplier rebates, landed costs, and e-commerce revenue tracking• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, floor plan financing, and sales tax compliance through Avalara• Lead and mentor a small accounting team while improving processes and automation initiativesRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with independent month-end close responsibility• Strong GAAP and accrual accounting knowledge in a multi-department environment• Experience with QuickBooks, CDK, Lightspeed, or similar ERP/accounting systems• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills• Hands-on experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for financial analysis or workflow automation• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications:• CPA, CMA, or active certification candidate• Experience in dealership, equipment distribution, field service, or parts distribution industries• Strong inventory accounting and multi-channel e-commerce accounting experience• Avalara or multi-state sales tax compliance experience
