Construction Controller (Contract)

One of our great clients in Rochester, NY is looking for a Controller to support their Accounting and Finance for the remainder of 2024! This position will be fully onsite, Monday-Friday during normal business hours. What You'll Do - Perform various construction accounting tasks with impeccable attention to detail - Execute monthly and annual financial reporting - Problem-solve and "clean up" issues from last fiscal year - Streamline processes and strengthen the overall financial health of the company Skills - 5+ years of construction accounting experience - Experience with Sage Timberline strongly preferred - Strong problem-solving and organization skills with both digital and paper files - Ability to oversee financial management processes efficiently - Leadership and clear communication Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting: Office Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Accounting for a construction company: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Rochester, NY (Required) Work Location: In person
