Duties
Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently to ensure smooth production flow
Execute food preparation tasks including grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling with precision and care
Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management protocols to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques to enhance menu offerings
Support high-volume production needs during busy hours while maintaining quality standards
Follow recipe adherence meticulously to ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and kitchen operations
Familiarity with culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
Strong knife skills and experience operating various kitchen equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety procedures including sanitizing practices and proper food handling
Experience with dietary department requirements or dietary aide roles is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new culinary skills
