Precision Machine Operator

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operator to produce precision components. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain machinery to meet quality and volume expectations. Your expertise will ensure equipment uptime and contribute to the efficient production of high-quality parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate machinery to produce workpieces that meet quality and volume targets. Interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures to ensure product specifications are met. Conduct quality checks using gauges and measuring devices, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards. Load and unload workpieces, and manage materials as needed, potentially using mobile equipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure machines are clean and in optimal working condition. Adhere to safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and accurately complete production logs and reports. Mount, align, and secure tools and fixtures on machines using hand tools and precision instruments. Monitor machine operations, identify issues such as excessive vibration, and take appropriate corrective actions. Qualifications Successfully pass pre-employment drug and background screening. Ability to lift, push, and pull 10 to 50 lbs. Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to stand and move throughout the department during the shift. Mechanical aptitude. Preferred Skills Prior industrial experience.
