Electrical Technician II

SUMMARY Join our team as an Electrical Technician II, where you’ll play a critical role in assembling, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems for advanced vehicles. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vehicles meet quality and schedule requirements, all while contributing to cutting-edge innovations in automotive technology. WHAT YOU’LL DO Assemble, install, and tap-in electrical cables, control boxes, switches, lighting, and other components for vehicle interiors and exteriors. Coordinate with mechanical and upholstery teams to ensure smooth build sequencing and timely project completion. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, engaging support as needed to maintain quality standards and deadlines. Perform quality inspections and uphold rigorous standards for electrical assemblies. Mentor apprentices and junior technicians to foster skill development and team growth. WHAT YOU BRING Experience: Formal training with 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5+ years in automotive (12V) electrical systems installation and troubleshooting. Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions. Knowledge of quality inspection methods and ESD standard procedures. Familiarity with IPC 610 & 620 standards. Expertise with tools like digital multimeters, milliohm meters, power supplies, and cable testers. Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively, prioritize tasks, solve complex problems, and communicate clearly. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in confined spaces in and around vehicles. WHY JOIN US?
