Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects in a fast-paced environment focused on quality workmanship and customer service.ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using schematics and technical manualsOperate testing equipment such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues accuratelyRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and facility maintenance manualsPerform welding tasks when necessary for electrical or structural repairs while maintaining safety standardsConduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and facilities to minimize downtimeSupervise junior team members and coordinate with contractors during complex projects or repairsMaintain detailed records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standardsSupport manufacturing operations by troubleshooting electrical issues impacting production efficiencyAssist with facility upgrades and general maintenance tasks as neededQualifications & ExperienceValid Journeyman Electrician license or certificationStrong electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or residential environmentsAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawingsHands-on experience with PLCs, welding, and facility maintenanceProficiency with testing equipment such as ohmmetersPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience preferredKnowledge of manufacturing operations and maintenance processes is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and communication skills in English
